Product Description

686B236U01 is a signal sampling and trigger interface board for ABB legacy DCS500 DC drive series. It is a critical spare part for old thyristor DC speed converters. It is responsible for armature voltage & current sampling, mains synchronisation signal capture, thyristor pulse distribution and fault signal feedback. This board receives commands from the main control board, outputs trigger pulses to drive power thyristors, and uploads analog signals from the power stage to the main controller. It is widely used for maintenance and replacement of aged DCS500 DC cabinets. The original ABB production is obsolete; available stock is new old stock or tested used units.
