Product Description

ABB AFS670 is a modular industrial Ethernet switch of the AFS600 series, designed for harsh environments such as power substations and DCS process control systems. It adopts a 19-inch rack-mount modular design with a 12-slot chassis. It supports flexible selection of electrical and optical modules with RJ45, ST, LC fiber and SFP ports. It supports Rapid Spanning Tree (RSTP) and MRP Media Redundancy Protocol for millisecond-level network self-recovery, complying with IEC 61850 power standard. Equipped with dual redundant power inputs, wide operating temperature range and high EMC performance for heavy electromagnetic interference on site. Suffix codes define port configuration. For example, AFS670 06-LC 02-ST 16-RJ45 means 6 LC fiber ports, 2 ST fiber ports and 16 RJ45 copper ports. Widely used for industrial ring network construction in substations, power plants and petrochemical DCS systems, it serves as critical spare part for industrial automation networks.
