CI522A is PROFIBUS‑DP communication interface module for ABB AC800M / System 800xA DCS. It acts as PROFIBUS‑DP Class1 master for high‑speed data exchange between controller and PROFIBUS‑DP slave devices. It supports up to 125 DP slaves, maximum 384‑byte input and 384‑byte output cyclic data. DB9 connector with switchable terminator resistor. On‑board LED indicators show run, communication and fault status. Rack slot‑mount design, module redundancy supported, hot‑swap not available.
