ABB CI868K01 (Order No. 3BSE048845R1) is an IEC61850 communication interface module for AC 800M and System 800xA control platform, supplied together with TP867 baseplate. It is a dedicated communication card for power automation. It enables data exchange between AC800M controllers and protection IEDs, bay control units in substations via IEC61850. It supports MMS client and GOOSE publish/subscribe for high-speed transmission of telemetry, tele-signal, remote control and trip signals. Hot-swap function is supported, widely used as critical spare for power plant DCS.
