Product Description
ABB CM574 is a serial communication expansion module for AC500 series PLC, including two sub-models CM574-RS and CM574-RCOM. It is directly plugged into the AC500 CPU terminal base TB5xx to expand dual serial communication ports. CM574-RS supports RS232/RS485 with configurable Modbus RTU, ASCII and CS31 protocols; CM574-RCOM supports RCOM/RCOM+ protocol for high-speed data exchange between AC500 controllers. Compact size, powered by backplane bus without external power supply. Built-in status LED indicators for easy communication fault diagnosis. It is an essential communication spare part for AC500 PLC to connect serial instruments, drives and legacy devices.
