ABB DAPC100, part number 3ASC25H203-57 (also known as 3BSC980004R1014), is a digital asynchronous processing control board for ABB Advant OCS system, the core processor board of ASTAT thyristor excitation control series. Equipped with high-speed DSP, it performs closed-loop excitation regulation, logic calculation, high-speed signal acquisition and thyristor firing pulse management. It connects to DAPU100 I/O sub-modules via optical fiber, supports backplane bus and PROFIBUS-DP communication to realize generator excitation regulation, limiting protection, fault waveform recording and event diagnosis. It is a 6U Eurocard rack card with hot-swap capability and built-in hardware self-diagnosis. Designed for large synchronous generator excitation control systems, it is discontinued by OEM and serves as critical spare part for power plant excitation systems.

Application
DAPC100 main control board is used in ASTAT excitation systems of large synchronous generators in thermal, hydro and gas power plants. It continuously samples generator voltage, current and rotor current signals, executes AVR automatic voltage regulation, reactive power regulation, over-excitation / under-excitation limiting and loss-of-excitation protection. It outputs firing pulses to control thyristor rectifier bridges to stabilize generator terminal voltage and reactive power. It triggers alarms, waveform recording and protective trips upon faults, acting as the core control board for generator excitation regulation.
