Product Description
DCS880‑S01‑0180‑05 is a 2‑quadrant thyristor DC drive module of ABB DCS880‑S series. Rated DC output current 180 A for three‑phase 100‑525 VAC input. Modular rack‑mount design with IP00 protection class. STO Safe Torque‑Off (SIL3 / PL e) is integrated as standard. It supports IEC 61131‑3 programming, closed‑loop speed, torque and current control for DC motors. Field‑excitation unit is optional. Main industrial fieldbus interfaces are available. Suitable for motor‑driven and non‑motor DC loads. Configuration and commissioning via Drive Composer and Automation Builder software. It is new‑generation high‑performance thyristor rectifier for new machinery and retrofit projectsABB Group.
