G7BI (Part‑no.1KHW000911R0001) is the binary I/O contact interface board for ABB/Hitachi Energy NSD570 teleprotection unit. It plugs into internal slot of NSD570 chassis. This board provides galvanically isolated digital inputs and relay dry‑contact outputs. It interfaces external hard‑wired trip / permissive / block contact signals from protective relays, and outputs teleprotection command relay contacts. It bridges legacy hard‑wired protection equipment and NSD570 main unit. Built‑in channel supervision and diagnostics. Works cooperatively with G1LA / G1LB / G3LC communication boards.
