ABB PCD235A101 (Part No. 3BHE032025R0101) is a high-performance exciter control module for UNITROL excitation system based on AC 800PEC platform. It acts as the main controller of generator excitation regulator, built with high-speed FPGA and processor architecture with sub-millisecond real-time control capability. It supports AVR automatic voltage regulation, PSS power system stabilizer, limit protection, fault recording and system diagnosis. Equipped with multi-channel I/O, high-speed fiber links and industrial communication interfaces, it can communicate reliably with power units and supervisory systems. It adopts rack mounting and excellent EMC performance, widely used for closed-loop excitation control in power generation.
