PM573‑ETHA2 (official designation PM573‑ETH) is the CPU processor module for ABB AC500 PLC platform. Equipped with 32‑bit processor, 512 KB program memory and 512 KB data memory. Integrated LCD local display with function keys and SD‑card slot for program backup and firmware upgrade. On‑board 10/100 M Ethernet port supports Modbus‑TCP, IEC60870‑5‑104, Web‑Server and SNTP. It also provides 2‑channel RS232/485 serial ports and FBP field‑bus interface. Up to 4 external communication modules can be added for Profibus‑DP, CANopen and other protocols. Programming complies with IEC61131‑3 via Automation Builder / CoDeSys software, DIN‑rail mounting. This model is end‑of‑life, only available as spare‑parts for existing‑plant maintenanceeero.
