Product Description

The REC670 is a bay control Intelligent Electronic Device (IED) of ABB Relion® 670 series. This unit is Version 2.0, with B30 package for double-breaker bay configuration. It integrates bay control, switchgear operation, electrical interlocking, measurement, event logging, disturbance recording and auxiliary protection functions within one single IED. One REC670 can perform local and remote control for multiple circuit breakers, disconnectors and earthing switches. It integrates transformer tap voltage regulation, equipped with large local HMI panel for direct access to settings, events, alarms and disturbance records. Modular hardware and selectable software functions support both conventional CT/VT and digital process bus, designed for smart substation automation systems.
