ABB REF615 HBFFAFAGNBA1BAN1XC is a medium-voltage feeder protection and control relay from ABB Relion® 615 series. It integrates protection, control, measurement, fault oscillography and event logging in one compact unit. This model adopts withdrawable plug-in design, dedicated for overhead lines and cable feeders, suitable for radial, looped and meshed distribution networks including networks with distributed generation. It features unique multi-frequency admittance earth-fault protection algorithm for high-sensitivity ground fault detection, optional fault location and arc protection. It supports IEC61850 Ed1/Ed2 (GOOSE, 9-2LE, PRP/HSR redundancy), DNP3, Modbus, IEC 60870-5-103 and IEEE1588 V2 precision time synchronization. Graphic LCD HMI enables local single-line diagram display and web-based HMI access. Widely deployed in utility and industrial MV switchgear cubicles.
