ABB REM611 is a motor protection, control and measurement IED (Intelligent Electronic Device) within Relion® 611 series. It is dedicated for protection, control, electrical measurement and supervision of medium & low voltage asynchronous motors. Factory pre-configured with motor protection logic for fast commissioning. It adopts withdrawable plug-in unit design for easy maintenance. Built-in disturbance recorder, event logging and trip circuit supervision. It supports IEC 61850 Ed.1/Ed.2 and GOOSE, optional PRP/HSR redundant network and IEEE1588 time synchronization, with embedded web HMI. Deployed for integrated protection of small & medium motors inside switchgear for new projects and retrofit.
