Product Description
SDCS-IOB-23-COAT is an isolated digital I/O interface board for ABB DCS500 and DCS600 series DC thyristor speed regulators. The board is installed through the internal slots in the chassis and is connected to the main control board SDCS-CON-2. It achieves electrical isolation between the 230VAC on-site switch quantity signals and the speed regulator’s main control circuit, completing the collection of external interlocks, limit switches, contactor signals, and the output control of relays. **It cannot operate independently.
Product Performance
1. Electrical isolation between AC and DC circuits, preventing interference from the 230VAC circuit on site and protecting the main control board of the speed controller.
2. 8 channels for DI to collect external AC switch signals, and 8 channels for DO to directly drive the coils of AC contactors.
3. Built-in LED indicator lights on each channel for easy on-site signal viewing and fault troubleshooting.
4. Three-layer coating for moisture-proof, mold-proof, and salt spray resistance, suitable for harsh industrial environments such as steel mills and paper mills.
5. Backplane connector communication, no additional wiring required, modular plug-in replacement for convenient maintenance.
6. Version cannot be mixed: This board is of 230VAC specification, and it is prohibited to replace SDCS-IOB-21 (24VDC) or SDCS-IOB-22 (115VAC). Using the wrong version will cause hardware damage.
