ABB TU830V1, Order No. 3BSE013234R1, is an Extended MTU (Module Termination Unit) passive base unit for S800 I/O system, compatible with ABB 800xA DCS and AC800M PLC control platformsABB. It serves as field‑wiring interface between S800 I/O modules and field devices, supporting up to 16 I/O channels. Two galvanically‑isolated process‑voltage groups are integrated, each fitted with a 6.3 A fuse. It implements ModuleBus daisy‑chain connection and automatic I/O address generation. Mechanical keying prevents mismatched module insertion. DIN‑rail mounted, it is the termination base for S800 I/O modules such as AI810, AO815, DI810, DO810, widely used for new‑project deployment, spare‑part replacement and DCS system retrofitting.
