Product Description
EATON MTL5531 is an intrinsically safe vibration transducer interface isolator of MTL5500 series, DIN rail mounted. It is a single-channel isolation module for vibration sensors in hazardous areas. A side switch selects between 3-wire eddy current probes, IEPE accelerometers or 2-wire current transducers. It provides galvanic isolation and intrinsic safety energy limiting, transmitting vibration signals safely from hazardous area to vibration monitoring equipment in safe area, compatible with Bently Nevada monitors. It meets SIL1 functional safety and is widely used as spare part for vibration monitoring loops in oil & gas and petrochemical plants.
