A6500-UM is the Universal Measurement Card of Emerson AMS 6500 ATG machinery protection system. It is a programmable dual-channel module for vibration and shaft condition monitoring, configurable for independent or combined measurement modes. It monitors shaft vibration, casing vibration, axial position, speed, dynamic pressure and other critical machine parameters. It is equipped with 5 digital inputs and 6 solid-state relay digital outputs. Signals are transmitted via internal RS485 bus to the communication card, with 0/4–20 mA analog outputs. It supports Modbus TCP/RTU and OPC UA, complies with API 670, and integrates PeakVue technology for early bearing fault detection. It is mounted in A6500-SR system rack, supports on-site configuration and reuse of existing sensors to reduce spare parts cost during retrofit projectsEmerson.
