Core Function Description
Field cable connection: Switch signals such as on-site solenoid valves, valve position switches, relays, local buttons, etc., are crimped on the base of this terminal block, and are connected to the DeltaV I/O main control card at the rear through dedicated connectors. Replacing the card does not require removing the field cables, significantly reducing maintenance downtime.
Short-circuit protection for circuits: Each channel integrates independent insurance protection to avoid short-circuiting of on-site lines and burning of system I/O cards.
Fault circuit diagnosis: Supports line breakage and short-circuit fault detection, and fault status can be uploaded to the DeltaV system upper computer for alarm.
Safety isolation for intrinsically safe explosion-proof: Safe isolation of switch signals at hazardous areas, meeting the wiring specifications for explosion-proof areas in petrochemical, coal chemical, and other industries.
