Product Description
The TA3840C Rack Communication Unit is the core master communication device of the Honeywell Enraf marine tank gauging system, adopting a standard 19-inch 3U rack-mounted structure and specially designed for ship liquid level monitoring systems. It integrates data acquisition, signal processing, protocol conversion and system communication functions, and centrally collects signals from ship radar level gauges, tank temperature sensors, inert gas pressure sensors, ship trim and heel attitude sensors and other on-site equipment.
Equipped with a local high-definition LCD display and operation keys, the unit can locally display real-time tank liquid level, temperature, pressure, equipment status and fault alarm information, and support on-site parameter configuration and threshold debugging. With multiple isolated communication interfaces and abundant analog and digital input/output channels, it is compatible with various industry standard communication protocols and stably connects with ship loading computers, engine room monitoring systems and upper industrial control systems. Adopting opto-isolation and lightning anti-interference design, the device meets marine environmental standards and classification society certification requirements, adapting to complex ship working conditions of high vibration, wide temperature range and strong electromagnetic interference. It is usually matched with the TA3840S safety unit to form a complete marine tank gauging and monitoring system.
