1. Overview
The FBM227 (spare part number P0927AC) is a dedicated hybrid field I/O module for the Foxboro I/A Series DCS system, integrating 0–10V analog and high-voltage digital channels. It is suitable for applications such as valve position feedback, servo positioning, and collection of high- and low-voltage contacts. With an aluminum extruded housing, it meets the G3 industrial environmental standards required in chemical and power industries.

1. Analog Channels (Fully Isolated)
AI: 4 channels, 0–10VDC
Usage: sliding resistance position transducer, DC voltage sensor, valve position feedback acquisition; each channel is independently electrically isolated.
AO: 2 channels, 0–10VDC
Usage: valve positioner, local regulator, field display table driver; paired channels are isolated.
2. Digital Channels (Group Isolation)
DI: 4 channels, 130VDC high-voltage input
Contact / DC voltage detection, 2 channels in one group are isolated, can be connected to high-voltage field switches.
DO: 4 channels, transistor output
Two working modes:
External power supply: maximum 60VDC load switching;
Built-in 11VDC three-wire output, direct drive solid-state relay SSR.
