I. Basic Material Information
Official GE part number: 261A1812P013
Original factory model (Honeywell / Ontic): LG1093AA26
Product type: Geiger-Müller type day-blind ultraviolet flame sensor (for gas turbines)
Manufacturer: Honeywell (now Ontic), original factory spare parts for GE heavy-duty gas turbines
Standard cable: Teflon double-layer shielded high-temperature resistant double-core cable, length 61 feet (18.6m)
Installation interface: Probe end 3/4 inch NPT internal thread; Cable side 1 inch metal conduit external thread
Explosion-proof certification: Class I Div 1, FM, ATEX, IECEx, CE explosion-proof certification, suitable for gas flammable and explosive areas
Core Technical Parameters
Detection principle and spectrum
Day-blind ultraviolet detection, detection wavelength range 180~260nm, only recognizes ultraviolet radiation from hydrocarbon fuel combustion, can shield sunlight, furnace high-temperature infrared, and visible light, eliminating false detection and false flame extinguishing protection actions.
Response speed
Fire detection response: ≤0.1s
Flame out fault response: ≤0.2s, can quickly cut off the fuel valve, avoiding explosion risk
Temperature tolerance range
Probe body: -40℃ ~ +177℃ (-40℉ ~ 350℉)
Long-term temperature resistance of shielded cable: 200℃, suitable for observation of gas turbine furnace temperature conditions
Electrical parameters
Compatible power supply: 20~35VDC / 115VAC, must be used in combination with EG1033 flame signal amplifier
Maximum signal transmission distance: 330 meters (1000 feet), strong anti-electromagnetic interference for long-distance wiring
Reliability indicators
Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) ≥ 10,000 hours, resistant to 0.5g industrial vibration, stainless steel explosion-proof housing, resistant to dust, oil, and corrosive environments
Working Principle
Built-in quartz-sealed Geiger-Müller ultraviolet photoelectric tube, specific wavelength ultraviolet radiation from the flame is shone onto the lamp tube, causing internal gas to ionize and conduct, the probe outputs a weak current signal which is transmitted to the EG1033 amplifier; after the flame is extinguished, ionization stops, the amplifier immediately determines the flame out, triggering fuel cut-off, sound and light alarm, and unit protection shutdown, which is the core safety device for gas turbine furnace safety protection.
Typical Application Scenarios
GE 5/6/7/9 series heavy-duty gas turbines (mainly配套), thermal power combined cycle power plant gas turbine flame monitoring
Large industrial gas boilers, heating furnaces, incinerators, refining process combustion systems
Offshore oil and gas platforms, self-owned power plants, ship power plants, gas turbine units for safety flame detection
