Product Description

Honeywell M7284A1079 is an electric modulating actuator (servo motor) from the Modutrol IV series, designed as a driving unit for dampers and fuel valves in industrial combustion systems. This model is a spring-return modulating motor with dual output shafts and built-in position feedback potentiometer. In case of power loss, the internal spring automatically returns the shaft to a safe position. It features a cast aluminum housing rated NEMA 3 for rain and dust protection. Accepting 4-20mA or 2-10Vdc modulating signals from controllers, it continuously adjusts valve or damper opening within 0~160°. Stroke can be field-configured for either 90° or 160°. Widely used for fuel-air ratio regulation of industrial boilers and burners, it is a direct replacement for legacy Modutrol actuators.
