Honeywell TA3840C
Communication Unit CIU (Communication Interface Unit), formerly Enraf (subsequently incorporated into Honeywell), is the core main unit of the ship’s liquid level remote measurement system.
TA3840 System Complete Kit: TA3840C communication host + TA3840S safety unit + TA3840R remote display, used for monitoring the cargo oil tanks / ballast tanks of oil tankers, chemical tankers, and FPSO.
Core Functions
Centralized collection of cabin sensors: liquid level, temperature, pressure, trim/list data, maximum support 64 cargo tanks, external instrument total input up to 96 channels.
2 expansion slots, optional boards:
Analog board: 4-20mA input, single block 48 channels
Multifunction I/O board: 8×4-20mA, 24-channel switch output, 16-channel switch input
Equipped with LCD display + keypad panel, local display liquid level, temperature, inert gas pressure, alarm information.
