Product Description
Schneider Sepam M41 is a medium-voltage motor integrated protection relay of Sepam Series 40 (Part No.59685). It is dedicated for medium & high voltage induction motors, integrating protection, metering, monitoring, disturbance recording and logic control. It provides comprehensive motor protection functions including thermal overload, locked rotor protection, start limitation, negative sequence unbalance protection and directional earth fault protection. Up to 16 RTD inputs are available for stator and bearing temperature monitoring. Equipped with front HMI, built-in Modbus communication and logic equation editor, it supports circuit breaker / contactor control, event logging and fault waveform recording. Commercial production ended at the end of 2024, OEM service support lasts until 31 Dec 2030. New surplus, refurbished and used spare parts are available on market for maintenance replacement of MV motor control cabinets in power plants and petrochemical plants.

Application
Applied for protection of medium-voltage high-power motors in power plants, petrochemical, water treatment, mining and heavy industry, such as compressors, fans, pumps and mills. It continuously monitors current, voltage, power, energy, winding and bearing temperature. It trips rapidly in case of overload, locked rotor, earth fault, phase loss or phase unbalance, records fault events & waveforms, delivering motor protection, condition monitoring, remote data transmission and switchgear control.
