Triconex UCM 4610X Unified Communication Module belongs to Schneider Triconex Tricon CX Safety Instrumented System. It acts as the core external communication gateway for Tricon controllers and is designed for 8120X main chassis. Built on TMR triple modular redundancy architecture, it ensures continuous communication even with single point failure. This module is equipped with multiple fiber Ethernet ports, serial ports, infrared port and time sync port. It supports Modbus, TriStation and HART‑IP protocols, realizing bidirectional data exchange between Tricon safety controller and Foxboro Evo DCS, HMI supervisory systems, third-party automation platforms and field smart instruments. It provides comprehensive on-board diagnostics and status LEDs for fast fault notification. It is the critical interface module for SIL3 safety loop interconnection.
