Product Description
WOODWARD 9907-838 is an LSM Load Sharing Module, a dedicated control unit for generator paralleling systems. It works with Woodward 2301A speed governors to realize load sharing for multiple diesel or gas generator sets operating in parallel. The module collects active load signals of each generator and outputs PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signals to fine‑tune the speed reference of the governor automatically. It balances load distribution among paralleled gensets, suppresses power circulation and prevents load chasing or reverse power. This is an older legacy unit, discontinued by the original manufacturer, only supplied as spare replacement for existing power plants and marine generator systems.
