The WOODWARD 5466-1047 is a core CPU processing module of the MicroNet Plus 5466 series produced by the American Woodward (now part of BorgWarner) company. It belongs to the 5200 series of high-speed speed control units. This module is the “brain” of the entire MicroNet Plus control system, responsible for real-time collection of signals such as rotational speed, load, temperature, and pressure, executing PID regulation algorithms, and outputting control instructions to drive servo valves, frequency converters, or actuators, thereby achieving precise speed and load control for rotating machinery such as gas turbines, diesel generator sets, and steam turbines.
5466-1047 is equipped with 3072K (3MB) user memory, featuring a 1.0GHz quad-core RISC processor, supporting up to 8 I/O module expansions. It is equipped with various communication interfaces such as Ethernet, RS-232/RS-485, Profibus, etc., and can seamlessly integrate into DCS, SCADA or upper-level monitoring systems. This module is widely used in industrial fields such as power, petrochemical, metallurgy, and shipping, and is currently one of the most popular medium and large-sized speed control controllers in the global market.
