Product Description

Woodward 9907-167 is a Digital Governor of 505E series for extraction steam turbine, panel-mounted second-generation configurable turbine controller with 24V DC power supply (18~32V DC), designed for extraction / admission steam turbine control. Equipped with 32-bit microprocessor, it integrates speed regulation, load control, extraction pressure control, critical speed avoidance and overspeed protection. It supports dual actuator outputs, abundant analog & discrete I/O, built-in LCD panel and keypad for local configuration, status monitoring and fault alarm. Modbus communication is available for DCS/SCADA connection. The circuit board adopts sulfur-resistant conformal coating, suitable for corrosive environment in power plants. It meets Class1 Div.2 hazardous location requirement, widely used for steam turbine spare replacement and control system retrofit.

Product Application

It is mainly deployed for extraction / admission steam turbines in cogeneration plants, captive power stations and petrochemical plants. The controller collects speed, pressure and temperature signals to control turbine main steam valve and extraction valve, and synchronously regulate turbine speed, generator load and extraction heating pressure. It supports automatic unit start-stop, overspeed protection and fault alarm, and uploads operating data to DCS via communication. Suitable for new build, upgrade retrofit and spare replacement of industrial turbine governors.
