Product Description
ILX56-PBM is a PROFIBUS DPV1 Master / Multi-Slave communication module designed by ProSoft Technology for Rockwell 1756 ControlLogix chassis. It is the upgraded successor of MVI56-PDPMV1, installed directly into a single 1756 backplane slot. It can operate as PROFIBUS DP master supporting up to 125 DP slaves, or multi-slave mode emulating up to 10 independent DP nodes. It supports DPV0 / DPV1 cyclic I/O, acyclic parameter access, alarms and diagnostics. It is equipped with Add-On Profile, PLX50 configuration utility, packet capture function and field firmware upgrade, enabling reliable data exchange between ControlLogix and PROFIBUS drives, instruments and remote I/O units, widely used for automation retrofit and spare part replacement.
